Bailey of Bristol welcomes back the Bailey Owners’ Club for their Works Rally factory visit

17th September 2024 | Bailey of Bristol
Bailey of Bristol once again opened its doors to the Bailey Owners’ Club (BOC) for their biennial Works Rally weekend earlier this month. Over 80 outfits from all over the UK, including a record number of motorhomes, attended this year’s event at Easter Compton in North Bristol.

The main attraction for members was the opportunity to visit the company’s South Liberty Lane manufacturing facility, where they enjoyed a guided tour led by the Bailey Operations Team. Here, they saw first-hand the assembly process from start to finish, gaining a greater understanding of how their caravans, motorhomes, or campervans are built. Visitors also observed how the Alu-Tech bodyshell panels are manufactured at the company’s Large Panel Laminating Plant in Clevedon, North Somerset.

Jason Ford, Manufacturing Team Leader, and Ricky Harding, Manufacturing Line Manager and Bailey’s longest serving employee, presenting the Bailey Campervan Assembly Line.

In addition to the factory tours, guests were given an exclusive preview of some of the new caravan and motorhome models set to be unveiled at the NEC show in October. As always, Bailey held its hugely popular parts and accessories sale in support of its chosen charity, Penny Brohn UK, with members of the Owners’ Club once again generously donating to raise £4,000 for this very worthy cause.

Over 80 outfits, including caravans and motorhomes, took part in the event held at Easter Compton in north Bristol.

The Bailey Owners’ Club, founded in 1970, now boasts over 500 members, making it one of the largest clubs of its kind in the UK. It is open to owners of all Bailey leisure vehicles, including caravans, motorhomes, and campervans. Commenting on the weekend, Nick Howard, Managing Director of Bailey of Bristol, said: “We always look forward to welcoming the Bailey Owners’ Club to Bristol. It is a fantastic opportunity for the whole Bailey team to meet people who are genuinely interested in what we do and who share a real passion for the leisure vehicles we manufacture.”
