Both the Caravan Design Awards and Lightweight Trailer Awards offer fair, independent, and objective assessments of the vehicles submitted for scrutiny. The information and data gathered during the judging process are invaluable in enabling people to make informed choices when buying a new caravan.
Judging took place during the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC in October and via a desktop assessment before the physical inspection of the vehicles. A total of sixty-nine caravans were examined by an independent panel of judges following a rigorous scoring checklist assessing everything from comfort, practicality, safety, and security. Further merit was awarded for design ergonomics and build quality.
Commenting on the receipt of these coveted awards Bailey of Bristol Managing Director Nick Howard said: “Firstly, a big thank you to all at The Caravan and Motorhome Club for all the energy they put into running these two competitions and for choosing five of our models as their category winners”.
“And secondly, this award success is testimony to the amount of work our Product Development Team has undertaken to strengthen our caravan portfolio in both in terms of design innovation and product value”. This in turn, has led to significant growth in our UK caravan sales and resulting market share over the past eighteen months” he added.
