Bailey Caravans Excel Across All Ranges at the 2025 Caravan and Motorhome Club Design Awards
The multi-award-winning Phoenix GT75 420 took first place in the Caravans 750kg – 1150kg category, proving that smaller caravans still deliver big on performance. The Pegasus Grande GT75 Amalfi and Pegasus Grande GT75 Ancona were recognised in the Any Large Family Caravan and Any Caravan with Five or Six Berths categories, offering spacious, practical options for families.
Bailey’s newest models also performed well, with the Unicorn Deluxe Madrid winning Best Conventional Caravan with Three or Four Berths, and the Alicanto Grande Deluxe Alvor named the best in the Any 8ft Wide Caravan category.
Runner-up awards went to the Discovery D4-4 (Any Caravan up to £25,000), Phoenix GT75 640 (Any Family Caravan), Unicorn Deluxe Seville (Any Two Berth Caravan) and Alicanto Grande Deluxe Evora (Fixed Bed Caravan with Three or Four Berths) further showcasing Bailey’s consistent quality across their entire caravan portfolio.

By securing awards across all Bailey caravan ranges, including the lightweight Phoenix GT75, family focused Pegasus Grande GT75, and luxurious Unicorn Deluxe and Alicanto Grande Deluxe ranges, Bailey demonstrates the diversity and strength of its entire lineup. This well-rounded success reflects Bailey have something for everyone, from solo travellers and couples to large families.
Judging took place during the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC in October and via a desktop assessment before the physical inspection of the vehicles. A total of sixty-two caravans were examined by an independent panel of judges following a rigorous scoring checklist assessing everything from comfort, practicality, safety, and security. Further merit was awarded for design ergonomics and build quality.
Nick Howard, Managing Director at Bailey of Bristol, commented: “Firstly, a big thank you to all at The Caravan and Motorhome Club for the energy and dedication they put into this competition. We are delighted with the recognition our models have received. It reflects the effort we put into ensuring every Bailey caravan meets the highest standards of design and innovation.“
