All-new Alicanto Grande Evora is a three-time award winner

The all-new Alicanto Grande Evora proved to be the star of the show at the recent Motorhome and Caravan Show held at the NEC in Birmingham, picking up not one, not two, but three awards from three leading industry publications.

Practical Caravan Magazine voted the Evora Best Caravan over £30,000 and Caravan Magazine crowned it the Best Couples Caravan. Whilst the same caravan also won the Any 8ft Wide Caravan category in The Caravan and Motorhome Club Caravan Design Awards 2023 Competition.

This award success also reflected the view of the buying public, with the Evora turning out to be the best-selling model on stand on debut, a remarkable achievement particularly given its size and position in the portfolio.

The multi-award winning Evora is a 4-berth twin axle model featuring a spacious parallel seat front lounge, beautifully showcased by the enlarged Bailey vertical front infinity window, which converts into either twin singles or a large double bed at night. In the centre of the caravan is an L-shaped kitchen, providing more worktop and storage space, and which includes top of the range appliances such as the latest Dometic 10-series tower refrigerators and a new Omnivent rooflight mounted extractor fan.

The key element of this layout is however the luxurious rear bedroom containing a new king-sized transverse island bed, featuring pocket sprung mattresses on a beech slat bed base, which affords the guarantee of a good night sleep. The feeling of space in this room is enhanced with the introduction of twin low level bedside cabinets, whilst a full run of overhead lockers and a floor to ceiling corner wardrobe also provide plenty of storage options. Completing the layout is a full width transverse end washroom with a supersized shower cubicle and a large central dressing area.

As with all Bailey leisure vehicles models are built using our patented Alu-Tech construction technology, cloaked in a GRP outer skin, making them more robust, more durable, and yet lighter than those manufactured using conventional methods to offer greater protection against the elements to keep you comfortable, safe, and secure all year round. Ensuring that this eye-catching investment remains safe on the road and secure on site it is fitted with the latest safety and security equipment, including the AL-KO ATC Trailer Control System, AL-KO Secure wheel lock (two on twin axle models), a TRACKER Monitor Stolen Vehicle Recovery System with an integral intruder alarm plus a new high security exterior door lock as standard specification.

Models are fitted with a fully specified Alde programmable radiator heating system which allows you to holiday no matter the time of year. This combined with the market-leading thermal characteristics of the Alu-Tech body shell makes the Alicanto Grande a genuine all-weather vehicle, a fact confirmed by the achievement of the highest rating for thermal performance (Grade III Classification of EN1656-I) in rigorous cold chamber testing.

Attention to detail is highlighted by a series of practical touches designed to make your life easier throughout the caravan. A new factory fitted Avtec mobile Wi-Fi system (including an introductory data and support package) ensures, should you so wish, that you can remain connected to the outside world whilst on holiday. Six 230v and six USB sockets, including two in a wireless charging pad, also ensure that everyone can remain fully powered up. Whilst the inclusion of a roof mounted Status 570 digital television aerial, an external satellite connection point and two television wall mounts means everything is set up and ready for your evening entertainment*.
