Arriving on site: Campervan oven and hob
- Before using the cooking equipment, ensure the drop-down hob cover and glass lid are lifted.
- Open the gas cylinder. You can see how here.
- To use the campervan gas hob, press the knob for the desired ring and turn to the required setting, letting it release gas for a couple of seconds. Press the igniter until lit. Hold the knob in for a couple of seconds before releasing it. The temperature is controlled by turning the knob clockwise or anticlockwise.
- The campervan gas oven and grill are lit in the same way. Again, the temperature is controlled by turning the knob, with the oven displaying temperature settings on the control knob itself.
- Before lowering the glass lid and drop-down hob cover, ensure all appliances are off, and all hob rings have cooled down.
- Always use the correct size pan for the hob. The recommended pan size is 18cm.

Ensure all the appliances are off and all the hob rings are cool before you lower the glass lid and hob cover.
Are there any specific cleaning instructions for the hob, grill, and oven?
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass and do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance. See the owner’s manual for further details.
Can I use any type of pan on the gas hob, or are there specific types that are recommended?
It is recommended to use pan with an 18cm circumference to avoid damaging the appliance. See the owner’s manual for more information.
