Arriving on site: Campervan oven and hob

Your Bailey campervan will come fitted with a gas hob, grill and oven. Getting it to work can't be any easier. In this step by step guide we will show you how so you can have your breakfast ready in no time.

  • Before using the cooking equipment, ensure the drop-down hob cover and glass lid are lifted.
  • Open the gas cylinder. You can see how here.
  • To use the campervan gas hob, press the knob for the desired ring and turn to the required setting, letting it release gas for a couple of seconds. Press the igniter until lit. Hold the knob in for a couple of seconds before releasing it. The temperature is controlled by turning the knob clockwise or anticlockwise.
  • The campervan gas oven and grill are lit in the same way. Again, the temperature is controlled by turning the knob, with the oven displaying temperature settings on the control knob itself.
  • Before lowering the glass lid and drop-down hob cover, ensure all appliances are off, and all hob rings have cooled down.
  • Always use the correct size pan for the hob. The recommended pan size is 18cm.
Follow these simple steps to use the hob, grill and oven in your campervan.
