When you purchase a new Bailey caravan, motorhome, or campervan, it comes with both a manufacturer’s warranty and a bodyshell integrity warranty. You can find full details about this coverage in the Warranty and Servicing section of our website, as well as in your Owners’ Handbook. Please note that this cover is subject to the terms and conditions of the policy, particularly the requirement for regular annual servicing.

For motorhomes and campervans, the base vehicle also comes with an independent warranty from either Ford or Peugeot, depending on your model. Any questions regarding this warranty should be directed to the base vehicle manufacturer or their authorized agents.

If you plan to keep your leisure vehicle beyond the original Bailey warranty period, you have the option to extend your coverage with a new range of insurance-backed schemes. Developed in partnership with MB&G Insurance, these packages are available for purchase through your supplying Bailey Retailer.

Caravan Warranty 

• 4-year insurance backed extension to body integrity warranty (making 10 years in total).
• 3-year insurance backed extension to manufacturers’ warranty (making 6 years in total).

Motorhome Warranty

• 4-year insurance backed extension to body integrity warranty (making 10 years in total).
• 3-year insurance backed extension to manufacturers’ warranty (making 6 years in total).

Campervan Warranty

• 3-year insurance backed extension to manufacturers’ warranty (making 6 years in total).

As with all warranties, these extended coverage options are subject to the terms and conditions of the policy, especially the requirement for regular annual servicing of the vehicle.

These extended warranty products are sold as insurance-based policies and are independent of Bailey of Bristol.

For extended body integrity warranty policies, they must be purchased within six months of owning your new vehicle, while extended manufacturer’s warranty policies must be purchased within three years of ownership.

The new Bailey extended warranty policies for caravans, motorhomes, or campervans offer extended coverage for the mechanical and electrical components of your leisure vehicle for an additional thirty-six months after the expiration of the original three-year Bailey Manufacturer’s Warranty—providing a total of six years of protection.

The new Bailey extended bodyshell integrity warranty policies for caravans and motorhomes provide an additional forty-eight months of coverage for the protection of your vehicle’s bodyshell, following the expiration of the original six-year Bailey Manufacturer’s Integrity Warranty—giving you a total of ten years of protection.

Other Additional Benefits 

• Recovery: In the event of an emergency breakdown due to the failure of a component covered by this warranty, the recovery charges for your vehicle will be covered.
• Continental Use: If you’re traveling abroad, these warranties provide coverage for breakdown repair costs within the EU for up to ninety days per year.
• Overnight Accommodation / Rail Fare: If your leisure vehicle becomes immobile due to a covered fault, you’ll receive a contribution toward hotel expenses or rail fare home, up to the specified maximum amount.
• Transfer Option: Should you decide to sell your leisure vehicle, this warranty can be transferred to the new private owner, provided the policy terms and conditions are met.
