Two new family friendly layouts join the Pegasus Grande GT75 caravan range
The first of the new arrivals is the Ancona, which is a completely new five-berth single-axle model featuring a parallel seat front lounge that is long enough to convert into either twin singles or a large double bed, plus a well-equipped centre kitchen opposite a U-shaped side dinette that doubles as a separate second seating area by day and an additional single bed at night. Completing this unique open plan layout is a pair of fixed single bunks and a large corner washroom featuring a separate shower cubicle.
This will be joined by the Amalfi, a six-berth twin-axle layout again featuring a parallel seat front lounge that is long enough to convert into either twin singles or a large double bed plus a well-equipped centre kitchen which, in line with the other twin-axle models in the range, also includes a Thetford tower refrigerator. Moving towards the rear of the caravan, there is a split central washroom, featuring a large separate shower cubicle, that acts as an ensuite for a large end bedroom containing both a fixed double corner bed and twin fixed single bunks, which is capable of accommodating the entire family.
The full range of Pegasus Grande GT75 models, including the new Ancona and Amalfi layouts, will be on display at the Camping, Caravan and Motorhome Show, NEC, Birmingham (Stand 3020 Hall 3) from Tuesday 13th – Sunday 18th February.
As with all Bailey leisure vehicles, Pegasus Grande GT75 models are built using our patented Alu-Tech construction technology, cloaked in a GRP outer skin, making them more robust, more durable, and yet lighter than those manufactured using conventional methods to offer greater protection against the elements to keep you comfortable, safe, and secure all year round. To date, approaching 75,000 Bailey leisure vehicles have been built with this ground-breaking technology and are currently being used around the world.
This high-performance duotone ‘polar white’ and ‘dove grey’ GRP skinned body shell has been visually enhanced with the introduction of a bold new anniversary graphics package. Plus, to ensure that your prized possession remains both safe on the road and secure on-site, Pegasus Grande GT75 comes supplied with all the latest safety and security equipment, including an AL-KO ATC Trailer Control System, an AL-KO AKS 3004 Stabiliser, a TRACKER Retrieve stolen vehicle recovery system, and AL-KO Secure wheel lock receivers as well as a new high-security door lock all fitted as standard.
Pegasus Grande GT75 models are fitted with a fully specified Truma Combi heating and hot water system (Combi 4 in single axles & Combi 6 in twin axles), which allows you to holiday no matter the time of year. This, combined with the market-leading thermal characteristics of the Alu-Tech body shell, makes this a genuine all-weather vehicle, a fact confirmed by the achievement of the highest rating for thermal performance (Grade III Classification of EN1645-I) in rigorous cold chamber testing. Plus, for those people seeking that extra level of flexibility, the Truma iNet X upgrade is available to allow remote control of the caravan’s hot water and heating systems.
Pegasus interior décor has been expertly refined with the introduction of new ‘Cashmere’ decorative finishes and ‘Warm grey marble’ worktop surfaces to complement the existing Bailey ‘Light Oak’ furniture, featuring re-designed curved overhead locker doors with dual chrome profiles, to create sophisticated new look beautifully showcased by the signature Bailey vertical front picture window.
Customers can also select from a choice of two new complimentary soft furnishing options, either the standard ‘Hatton’ or optional ‘Amersham’ schemes, complete with practical Aquaclean fabric, featuring fully sprung lounge base seats and a full complement of scatter cushions and armrests.
Attention to detail is highlighted by a series of practical touches throughout the caravan, such as the inclusion of external 230v and gas BBQ points plus a new flexible Truma 100-watt solar panel in the standard specification. While inside the introduction of a new centrally located media centre comprising of a Sonos portable speaker with integral storage, a smartphone wireless charging pad including two USB sockets and a dedicated TV point with 230v, 12v and aerial sockets means that everything has been considered to make holidays in the new Pegasus Grande GT75 as enjoyable as possible.
