Modern Slavery Statement
This modern slavery statement has been published under section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and has been prepared on behalf of Bailey Caravans and the following subsidiaries, brands, or associated companies – Bailey Caravans Ltd and Prima Leisure Ltd.
For the purposes of this statement, Bailey Caravans, brands or associated companies will be referred to simply as ‘Bailey’.
We are a modern manufacturing business based and head quartered in Bristol, UK, where we produce caravans and motorhomes for the leisure market through our workforce of approximately 600 people. Our immediate and ultimate parent company is Keenwork Limited, registration number 01295911.
Bailey operates a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to act with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, as well as enforcing and implementing processes and effective systems that ensure we have the correct controls in place to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking taking place. This includes both controls focusing on our direct employees as well as our external customers, suppliers and any third parties.
Bailey takes pride in being an employer of choice in the local area, and it is important that the business upholds its core values when dealing with new suppliers and third parties. Our ultimate aim is to partner with local and UK based suppliers where possible, but where this is not possible, we will ensure that all of our potential partners understand our values and ethical standards and adhere to them.
Through our induction processes we make all employees aware of modern slavery and work closely with our labour providers to audit and check their processes. We also have robust internal procedures through our Whistleblowing and Code of Conduct Policies that allow employees to raise concerns and issues.
As part of our on-going due diligence, we are also committed to:
- Reviewing this policy and internal procedures each year to ensure they are relevant, up to date and truly reflect Bailey’s position on modern slavery.
- Working with our supply partners on an on-going basis to ensure adherence to our ethical standards and where necessary conducting audits and reviews to ensure compliance.
- On-going training of all employees on site.
This modern slavery statement was ratified by the Board of Directors and is signed by Nick Howard, Managing Director.
