The Bailey story started back in 1948, when Martin Bailey designed and built the very first Bailey caravan in his South Bristol garage. His caravans soon captured the nation’s adventurous spirit, and Bailey grew into the thriving, family-run business it still is today.

In 2023 we celebrated our diamond anniversary, marking seventy-five years’ of leisure vehicle production and design, confirming our position as the UK’s longest established caravan, motorhome and campervan manufacturer.
We have been building Bailey leisure vehicles here in South Bristol since 1948 and are now a key part of the local economy and community. The majority of our employees live nearby and been with us for a long time. As result, our workforce possesses the necessary skill and experience to successfully manufacture a complex and ever-evolving range of caravans, motorhomes and campervans.
