Certified Sites (CS) are run by the Camping and Caravanning Club, and Certified Locations (CL) are run by the Caravan and Motorhome Club (both the Clubs require you to be a member to book). These are privately run sites that offer space for up to 5 caravans and motorhomes. Facilities range from back-to-basics off-grid camping up to sites that include shower blocks, electric hookups and even WIFI.

Many people choose CS or CL sites because they’re much quieter than larger sites and are often found in areas of outstanding natural beauty.
